Job summary

Landing Alexandria is seeking a dining services aide to provide high-quality meals and exceptional customer service to residents. You will assist with setup and cleaning of the Dining Room, help food servers, and ensure infection control standards are met.

The role includes greeting residents, taking orders, maintaining dining areas, and supporting special events while upholding hospitality and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, but not necessary
• Must be able to read and write
• Follow instructions with a positive attitude
• Experience a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating Residents and Guests
• Taking meal/beverage orders and serving items per established policies
• Maintain side stations and dining areas using the “clean as you go” policy
• Assist with special events and functions as needed
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Assist with orientation and training of new food servers
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures
• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene
• Attend all in-services as required
• Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Reading and writing ability

Experience preferred
