Job summary

Masconomet Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Resident Dining Coordinator/Diet Aide in Topsfield, MA. You will visit residents, learn preferences, and ensure meals meet clinical needs and personal tastes.

Responsibilities include interviewing residents, updating dietary orders, and communicating with cooks. Schedule is full-time with weekday hours and at least one weekend day; benefits include insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years of food service experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or senior living.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Visit residents to discuss meal selections and complete weekly menus.
• Interview residents and families regarding food preferences, allergies, and dietary needs.
• Follow up with residents to ensure no one is missed.
• Adjust resident meal profiles and menu tickets based on new dietary orders.
• Enter meal selections and dietary information into the computer system accurately.
• Prepare production sheets and tally menu selections for the kitchen.
