Job summary

Masconomet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Topsfield, MA seeks a Dietary Aide to support residents’ daily nutritional needs, assist with meal preparation, production, and service, and coordinate with the dietician and Food Service Manager to ensure consistent menus and sheets.

You will prepare, portion, and serve foods, assist with vending par levels, and deliver nourishments on schedule while following safety and sanitation procedures. Strong English and MS Office skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Fluent knowledge of MSOffice Suite and other office equipment.
• Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine duties to meet the daily nutritional needs of our residents
• Assist with meal preparation, production, and service
• Work closely with dietician and Food Service Manager to ensure production sheets and menus are consistent
• Prepare, portion, and serve appropriate and adequate amounts of food items, beverages, and desserts for meal service
• Assist with preparation and production of vending par levels
• Prepare and deliver nourishments at appropriate times according to procedure
• Set up trays and/or place settings according to prescribed therapeutic diets
• Assist with meal set up at mealtime
• Properly store all food items and supplies according to procedure
