You will follow established safety and sanitation standards and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and families.

The role involves assisting with inventory, supervising dietary staff when needed, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness while leveraging computerized systems to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Store food and kitchen supplies properly to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and complete kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Prepare and stock snacks and pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently create a great dining experience.
