Job summary

The Glen at Ocala is seeking a dedicated dining services associate to prepare meals for residents, families and visitors in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines. You will oversee kitchen operations, ensure proper portioning and safe food handling, and support a respectful, dignified dining atmosphere for residents and families.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related food service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and menus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food according to the established menu.
• Ensures proper preparation, portioning, and serving of food following standardized recipes.
• Maintains sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules in the kitchen.
• Oversees kitchen operations and supports dining staff to ensure quality and cost control.
• Responds to resident and family requests promptly and courteously.
