Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation and serving meals in a long-term care setting. You will support dietary needs, help maintain clean dining areas, and follow safety guidelines while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent), ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and familiarity with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; experience in food service or kitchen is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants, staff, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
