Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, serve meals according to dietary needs, and maintain kitchen cleanliness while upholding safety standards.

You will interact positively with residents and staff to deliver quality service, with duties including cleaning, sanitation, and adherence to policies. Residency in service area required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and clear communication with building occupants, staff and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and stand/bend for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• State/County required ServSafe or Food Handler certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
