Barnegat Rehab and Nursing in Barnegat Township, NJ is seeking both Full Time and Part Time Dietary Aides to join our 120-bed skilled nursing center serving geriatric residents. Join a professional, compassionate team dedicated to quality dining and resident comfort.

Responsibilities include serving meals with portion control, assisting with cleaning, waste disposal, and following safety guidelines. Strong communication and ability to multitask are essential; prior food service experience

Qualifications

High school diploma and at least 1 year of food service/dietary aide experience.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication with residents and their families.
Working knowledge of sanitary practices relating to food handling.

Responsibilities

Serves meals to residents with portion control and appetizing presentation.
Completes daily cleaning tasks, including spills, unloading dishwasher, and waste disposal.
Participates in departmental cleaning and recycling program.
Disposes of food and waste in accordance with facility/state guidelines.
Wears protective clothing when handling hazardous chemicals or infectious waste.
Provides excellent resident service within established guidelines.
