Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes excellent service to residents and staff, with strong infection control and safety practices.

You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, document activities and collaborate with supervisors to address maintenance or safety issues, while upholding a positive and respectful workplace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests while providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
