Goldwater Care Marseilles is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to join our team in Marseilles, Illinois. You will perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks, maintain clean and safe resident living areas, and support the facility by following established cleaning schedules and safety guidelines.

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Goldwater Care Marseilles. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents and facilities.

About the Role:

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department, adhering to current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. Your duties will include:

• Ensuring that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical
• Reporting all accidents/incidents to your supervisor, no matter how minor they may be
• Coordinating daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or residential areas
• Cleaning, washing, sanitizing, and/or polishing fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, bathroom fixtures, etc.
• Cleaning floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
• Discarding waste/trash into proper containers and relining trash receptacles with plastic liners
• Agreeing not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly reporting suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator
• Following established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies
• Following proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used for cleaning
