Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, ensure accurate portions, and maintain clean dining areas while conforming to safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and some food service exposure. Certifications like ServSafe enhance prospects; residency within the service area is required, with benefits supporting professional growth and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift up to 30 lb, push/pull up to 50 lb, stand/sit/bend/walk for extended periods.
• Must perform routine, repetitive tasks around food and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
