Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.

You will also assist with inventory, interact with residents and staff, and provide excellent service daily. This role requires HS diploma, potential prior cooking experience, and compliance with vaccination policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cooking or food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform routine tasks.
• Certification in ServSafe or Food Handler per state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep the kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
