Job summary

Tuscany Village Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a dedicated Cook to prepare meals for residents in accordance with menus, dietary guidelines, and safety standards. You will join a multi-disciplinary team focused on rehabilitation, wellness, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a cook in hotel, restaurant, hospital, or similar institution preferred.
• Food handlers’ card required, or Food Safety Certification where required by local ordinance.
• Must have fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Safe Food Handling: follow guidelines, monitor temperatures, and maintain sanitation.
• Food Preparation: follow recipes, manage portions, and prep in advance as needed.
• General Food Service Duties: serve meals, clean work areas, and manage leftovers safely.
• Shift closure: ensure kitchen is secured and policies are followed.
