Job summary

Henderson Nursing and Senior Living Center in Henderson, NC is seeking a Transportation Driver to move residents to appointments and community events, confirm doctors’ visits, and support residents’ activities while maintaining safety and reliability.

You will ensure the vehicle is ready, handle light clerical transfers and discharges, and collaborate with staff to deliver compassionate, resident-centered service in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver's License with no more than three (3) entries; counting accidents, moving violations, and failures to appear
• Ability to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents while on transportation

Responsibilities

• Confirm doctors' appointments for residents and make necessary arrangements
• Provide actual transportation to appointments, community events, and other activities as needed
• Ensure the vehicle is safely supplied prior to the start of the trip
• Perform clerical tasks, including processing administrative transfers and discharges
