Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting. You will develop individualized treatment plans that maximize independence and quality of life and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus—but not required.
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others thrive.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate milestones and encourage residents as they achieve meaningful goals.
