Job summary

Montello Manor and Montello Commons are seeking a compassionate Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to provide hands-on, resident-centered care for older adults and individuals with disabilities in a warm, community setting. You will deliver personal care, assist with ADLs/IADLs, and participate in a supportive clinical team focused on enhancing residents' quality of life and independence.

Training is available to advance to CRMA with a potential pay increase, and references/background checks are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PSS certification preferred; training offered if not yet certified.
• Opportunity to train as CRMA for a pay increase.
• Experience with older adults and strong customer service orientation.
• Strong verbal communication and safety awareness expected.
• Background check required by Maine regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered personal care (ADLs/IADLs) per care plans.
• Assist with daily living activities, meals, laundry, housekeeping as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical team to maintain a safe, supportive environment.
