Job summary

First Atlantic Healthcare in Maine is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to provide hands-on, resident-centered personal care in an assisted living setting. You will assist with ADLs/IADLs and support a caring clinical team dedicated to life enhancement.

Whether certified or new to the field, you will join a team that offers flexible shifts, education support, paid training to become CRMA, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PSS certification or willingness to train.
• Experience with or desire to care for older adults and strong customer service.
• Strong verbal communication and commitment to safety.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care for residents, including ADLs and IADLs.
• Support residents with daily living activities and daily tasks.
• Collaborate with clinical team to maintain a safe, positive environment.
