Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medication Manager to assist in administering medications to residents as prescribed by the attending physician.

You will work under supervision to ensure safe, accurate delivery of medications in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean medication cart, verifying proper labeling and dating, documenting medication administration and charting, and reporting refusals or adverse reactions

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Medication Manager certificate.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with documentation.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering medications as ordered by the physician under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized medication cart and medication room.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating, and storage of medications.
• Document and chart medication administration and report any refusals or adverse reactions.
• Follow safety procedures and protect resident privacy during medication delivery.
• Observe and verify that medications are ingested or applied as directed.
