Qualifications

• Certified Activity Director or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred.
• Experience in senior living, long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare life enrichment programming required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to plan and lead creative, meaningful, and resident-centered programs.
• Compassionate, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to activities and life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a well-rounded life enrichment calendar reflecting resident interests, abilities, needs, and preferences.
• Lead engaging group and individual activities that promote quality of life, social connection, independence, and personal fulfillment.
• Complete assessments, documentation, care planning contributions, and activity participation records as required.
• Support resident engagement through creative programming, special events, outings, wellness campaigns and community involvement.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team members.
• Ensure programs meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Promote a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment for all residents.
