Job summary

Clearwater Living at The Arboretum seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead daily operations, ensure exceptional resident care, and build a dynamic team in a thriving senior living community. You will drive occupancy, compliance, and financial performance while partnering with sales to promote the property.

The ideal candidate brings extensive leadership in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality, with a track record of people development and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or human services, or preferred.
• Combination of education and experience supervising others in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment.
• Eight to ten years of experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related industry.
• Five years of experience in a leadership role at a senior living operation.
• Current state/federal/local required certification or license to manage a community.
• First Aid Certification required.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Must meet health requirements, including TB.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, plan, develop, organize, implement, manage, control and direct all day-to-day functions and operations of the community.
• Consult with department directors on development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Establish rapport among departments to promote teamwork and cooperation among associates.
• Identify and develop a plan of corrections to improve service to residents.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Ensure residents receive proper services for physical, mental and emotional needs.
• Conduct surveys and exit interviews to determine satisfaction levels and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales to promote the property and reach full resident occupancy goals.
• Oversee operations, finances and reporting including: approve expenditures against budgets and maintain financial records.
• Maintain education units and compliance with regulations and licensing updates/requirements.
• Oversee maintenance to ensure a safe and secure environment and OSHA compliance.
• Manage workers’ compensation injuries, investigations, or safety complaints.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, motivate, monitor performance, and schedule staff.
