Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide at Muskoka Shores Community in Gravenhurst to support long-term residents with meals and dining needs. You will contribute to a home-like atmosphere by providing compassionate, dignity-driven care through food service.

Responsibilities include following dietary plans, serving meals, and maintaining clean dining areas while collaborating with a caring team dedicated to resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

Have a valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate or willing to obtain.
Committed to providing compassionate support for seniors.
Detail-oriented with strong customer service to communicate with residents and staff.
Experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality.
Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent, but not required.
Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
Pass Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check as applicable.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal service.
Follow residents' diets and food preferences.
Take menu orders from residents.
Set and clear tables and ensure sanitation.
Maintain proper food handling practices.
