Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine nursing care under the supervision of nursing leadership. The role requires CNA certification or enrollment, with a minimum of six months of CNA experience or clinical exposure, and a strong patient-centered approach.

The CNA will perform rounds, assist with activities of daily living, meals, and transportation for residents, while maintaining safety, infection control, and quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in CNA program or CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience.
• Strong desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must be in good health and emotionally stable.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned per facility policies and procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals and report issues.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables; assist with dressing and grooming.
• Assist in meals: transport, serving trays, feeding or supervising, as needed.
• Provide resident care during therapy, activities, and physician visits; transport as required.
• Observe and report changes; maintain infection control and safety practices.
• Complete CNA notes and document intake/output; report hazardous conditions.
