Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Old Orchard (located in Easton) is hiring a part-time Resident Caregiver

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with daily activities as outlined in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent interactions with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
• Skills: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to speak understandable English
• Experience: Knowledge of working with elderly; dementia experience preferred
• Certification: Required according to state regulations; successful completion of Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; push and pull objects; lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, and legs; read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment; operate appliances; good physical and mental health.
