Position Overview

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with daily activities as outlined in the resident service plan. Responsibilities include personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and providing information. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent interactions with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
• Skills: Basic reading, writing, and understandable English communication

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull objects, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Full use of hands, arms, legs for activities like washing, bathing, dressing, writing, cleaning. Ability to read thermometers, charts, operate appliances. Good physical and mental health required.
