Job summary

SANANTONIONORTH is seeking a Treatment Nurse to ensure effective and efficient care as prescribed by the physician and facility policies. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and requires adherence to current standards and guidelines to deliver high-quality care to residents.

Responsibilities include communicating plans of care, administering medications/treatments, documenting care, and collaborating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years or more experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Maintain a current, unencumbered license as RN or LVN. Current CPR certification.
• Must remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing at all times.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with residents and their family about Plans of Care and treatment protocols.
• Provide resident care including carrying out physician's orders for care, including medications and treatments.
• Chart nurses' notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Observe wounds/conditions and notify physicians of changes or infection.
• Assist physicians and other health professionals during visits and examinations.
• Maintain professionalism and compassion in all resident interactions.
