Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, Memphis, TN, seeks a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities.

Responsibilities include mobility support, light housekeeping, meal and activity participation, and timely reporting to nursing staff. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days is required, along with a high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved PCA program. Flexible weekends/holidays offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing; organized and team oriented.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and assist transfers; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas and common spaces.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs.
• Help residents move to meals and activities; monitor attendance.
• Report resident status and concerns to nursing staff.
