Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Associate (RCA) to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily tasks and individualized care plans.

As a Culture Ambassador, you will document care, monitor residents, and collaborate with the care team to promote dignity, safety, and quality of life for seniors, while upholding company policies and resident rights.

Qualifications

• Compassionate disposition and a desire to serve seniors.
• Ability to fulfill both the physical and emotional needs of residents.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain; direct-care certification requirements are noted in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks.
• Aid residents with mobility and safe transfers.
• Document daily care activities and communicate updates to supervisors.
• Maintain residents' dignity, privacy, and rights at all times.
• Attend required trainings and shift reports.
