Job summary

Luther Manor is seeking Resident Care Assistants for 2nd and 3rd Shift. The Resident Care Assistant provides care to residents including activities of daily living, meals, medications, and treatments.

They also assist in person-centered care focusing on social and spiritual well-being, under the nurse’s direction. Essential duties include teamwork, documentation in MAR, monitoring vital signs, and safeguarding residents while ensuring confidentiality and respect.

Qualifications

• Must be able to administer and document medications following policy.
• Strong communication with residents, families and team members.
• Ability to read and write English; work as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and meals.
• Administer medications and document in MAR as directed by nurse.
• Monitor resident health, report changes to nurse.
• Respond to call lights promptly and maintain safety.
