Job summary

Parc Center for Disabilities in Saint Petersburg, FL, seeks a Shift Supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals on the floor, assign duties, and ensure consistent supervision and respectful care aligned with Active Treatment Plans.

You will also assist with ADLs, coordinate outings and appointments, and maintain accurate documentation while communicating with families and team members. A valid driver’s license and experience with developmental disabilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Minimum of one year experience in a related field or highly regulated environment.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, care, and assistance to residents during the shift (bathing, dressing, toileting, repositioning, dining).
• Oversee Direct Support Professionals on the assigned wing/floor with training and redirection.
• Ensure all required documentation (incident reports, behavior data, ADL sheets, logs) is accurate and thorough.
• Coordinate resident outings and appointments, assist with transportation, and ensure safety protocols.
• Attend trainings and communicate emergencies per the Shift Supervisor Manual.
• Fulfills DSP duties when not acting as charge supervisor.
