Job summary

Messiah Lifeways, located in Mechanicsburg, PA, is seeking a part-time Resident Care Partner (RCP) to support residents’ daily living needs while you train toward CNA certification. You will start in a part-time role and enroll in CNA courses through Messiah University, with paid training during enrollment.

Upon successful completion, you’ll advance to CNA and then to a Nursing Assistant on day, evening, or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years or older.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to serve older adults.
• Commitment to obtaining CNA certification within 120 days of program completion.
• Complete a pre-employment Competency Exam with a minimum score of 80%.

• Provide non-direct care support that promotes resident comfort, engagement, and well-being.
• Collaborate closely with licensed nursing staff to ensure timely assistance and meaningful interaction.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and eager to grow into a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role.

We are currently hiring candidates to join our organization on Monday, October 19th and enroll in classes by October 27th.

As a Resident Care Partner, you will be hired in a part-time capacity and quickly enroll in CNA courses offered through Messiah University at Messiah Lifeways. Upon successful completion of your CNA coursework and exams, you will transition into a Nursing Assistant and ultimately a Certified Nursing Assistant on one of three available shifts (Day: 7a-3p, Evening: 3p-11p, Night: 11p-7a).
