Responsibilities

  • Performs resident health assessments and coordinates with physicians/home health agencies and family.
  • Provides care following established nursing objectives and standards.
  • Ensures safety and infection control practices are followed.
  • Distributes and documents medications (including narcotics) per standards and regulations.
  • Responds to emergency situations.
  • Ensures documentation is complete and regulatory compliant.
  • Communicates with residents and families about treatment and care.
  • Attends staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
