Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Resident Care Manager RN to supervise the nursing team and manage daily care delivery for residents. You will coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, while keeping the Director of Nursing informed of progress and potential issues.

The role requires a Hawaii RN license, a nursing degree, and at least 3 years in hospital or long-term care with supervisory experience preferred. TB health screening and CPR/First Aid may be done in-house.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Hawaii RN license required.
• At least three (3) years of hospital or long-term care experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• TB clearance and health review (2 Step) required; First Aid and CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing team and oversee the operation of a nursing unit.
• Coordinate unit admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Plan and supervise resident care; monitor quality indicators and participate in QA efforts.
• Support continuous quality improvement and admission/discharge planning.
