Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health in Honolulu, HI seeks a Resident Care Manager to supervise the nursing team and oversee daily care delivery in a nursing unit. You will coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers and keep the Director of Nursing informed of progress and issues.

Responsibilities include planning care tasks, supervising staff, assessing residents, and participating in quality improvement activities. Supervisory experience and Hawaii RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Hawaii RN license.
• At least three (3) years' experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
• Two Step TB clearance current (in-house possible).
• First Aid and CPR preferred (in-house possible).

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing team and oversee operation of a nursing unit.
• Coordinate unit admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Plan, develop and organize work tasks; supervise and evaluate staff.
• Monitor residents' physical conditions and participate in planning conferences.
• Support quality improvement, monitor indicators and ensure positive outcomes.
