Job summary

Summit Place of Mooresville is seeking Med Techs to join their team. The Med Tech is responsible for monitoring residents' health and well-being and provides leadership support with resident care and services.

Responsibilities include medication care administration, coordinating with families and support services, and maintaining clinical quality assurance while supporting wellness components of Phoenix programs and services.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Medication Aide and/or meet the state requirements for medication aide.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Must have demonstrated Leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' health and wellness with PSP processes.
• Assist Wellness Nurse with monthly wellness visits and PSP updates.
• Document changes in medication or service levels promptly.
• Take weights and vital signs monthly before wellness visit.
• Provide resident care assistance as needed.
