Job summary

Wingate Living in Massachusetts seeks a registered nurse with leadership experience to organize and direct the wellness team, ensuring compliant nursing care across local, state, and federal regulations. The role includes supervising staff, developing resident-centered wellness programs, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant medical records.

The ideal candidate holds an RI RN license (BSN preferred) with at least five years of supervisory medical experience, and a strong grasp of elder care standards

Qualifications

• RN License required in RI; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' supervision experience in the medical field required. AL, LTC, and geriatric nursing care experience preferred
• Knowledge of GAFC requirements, D.P.H. regulations, and Department of Elder Affairs standards required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive wellness programs tailored to the needs of residents.
• Supervise and manage staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Manage budgets related to wellness programs and resources effectively.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in home care and assisted living.
• Monitor the overall health and well-being of residents, providing support as needed.
• Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic care.
