Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to lead clinical excellence across the community, overseeing health, wellness and care coordination while ensuring safe, high-quality, resident-centered services.

You will manage nursing staff, oversee ISP, monitor changes in condition, supervise medication management and infection control, and drive QAPI initiatives, while ensuring regulatory compliance and operating within budget.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Experience leading nursing teams and clinical programs.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee ISP
• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
• Drive QAPI initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
• Recruit, hire, train and manage clinical staff
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness
