Job summary

Legend Senior Living in McCandless is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to support clinical services, medication management, and service planning within the nursing team. You will supervise staff, participate in assessments, and coordinate with health care services to ensure residents receive exceptional direct care.

The position may require on-call rotation and occasional evenings/weekends. A valid LPN or RN license and CPR certification are required, with preferred experience passing

Qualifications

• Must have LPN or RN license.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Prefer at least 1 year of experience passing medications.
• Prefer experience supervising direct care staff in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Providing resident care when there are staffing needs, including on-call rotation
• Completing the daily shift report and communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate staff
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation and family communication
• Acting as the lead supervisor in the Director's absence

You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. Requirements

• Required: LPN or RN license
• Required: Current CPR certification
• Prefer: at least 1 year of experience passing medications
• Prefer: previous experience supervising direct care staff, preferably in a senior living environment
