Resident Care Companion - DSL Danbury Broadview Heights

Assist licensed nurses with routine patient care activities in a nursing unit, including admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient safety.

• Prepare patient rooms, ensure belongings accompany patients, and transport stable patients safely.
• Maintain confidentiality, clean equipment, run errands, and replenish supplies.
• Support a safe, comfortable environment by assisting with water, linen, and towels.
• Perform specific patient care tasks, monitor patient condition changes, and report promptly.
• Assist with inventory management and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Communicate with team members, respond to call lights, and adapt care to meet individual patient needs.

Qualifications include: CNA license, BLS certification, high school diploma (preferred), and some patient care experience.

Attend orientation, complete competency validations, and work per diem as needed.
