Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a NonCNA/NonSTNA in the Senior Living division. The role involves providing direct resident care and assisting with daily living activities under supervision of the Charge Nurse.

The position requires good communication skills, basic document handling, and adherence to facility policies. Prior experience in assisted living or similar settings is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Per the job description, provide direct care to residents and assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting to supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff in written and oral form.
• Follows policies, procedures and safety guidelines; respects resident rights.

Responsibilities

• Performs/assists with direct resident care needs and comforts of daily living.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and other ADLs.
• Responds to call lights promptly and professionally.
• Assists nurses with vitals, weights, and documentation.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and living areas.
• Supports new admissions and staff training as assigned.
• Documents information accurately in the EMR.
• Complies with safety and infection control policies.
• Assists with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
