Job summary

National Church Residences in Ohio is seeking a NonCNA/NonSTNA to provide direct care to residents in a Senior Living setting. The role supports activities of daily living, reports to the Charge Nurse, and helps maintain residents' dignity and independence.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to privacy and safety policies, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality resident care in a non-exempt, full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two to four years preferred.
• Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and World Wide Web.

Responsibilities

• Performs/assists with resident direct care needs and ADLs (bathing, dressing, mobility, etc.).
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and engages residents in activities.
• Communicates professionally and reports changes to the supervisor.
• Assists nurses with vitals, measurements, and documentation; aids in admissions as needed.
• Adheres to Resident Rights and maintains confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Documents resident information accurately in the EMR system.
• Follows Safety, Infection Control, and equipment-use policies.
• Prepares meals and assists with eating; records intake.
