Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services seeks a Resident Care Assistant in San Angelo, TX, onsite at Baptist Retirement Community. You will provide routine personal care and assist with activities of daily living to help residents maintain independence and dignity in a home-like setting.

Must be able to drive with a valid license and proof of insurance; age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner.

Responsibilities

Provide personal assistance in home settings to support daily living activities.
Assist with oral/dental care, bathing, grooming, toileting, and showering while ensuring privacy and safety.
Assist with ROM or other exercises and ambulate clients per endurance level.
Assist with meal prep and encourage independence; monitor appetite and dietary planning.
Respect clients' rights; address them by name and title; promote independence.
Report grievances and comply with universal precautions.
Perform routine housekeeping for clients and assist with activities of choice.
