Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services Community is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to deliver compassionate resident care in a Baptist Retirement Community setting in San Angelo, TX. You will support health care plans, assist with ADLs, and help maintain safety, cleanliness, and dignity for residents.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, and a current Texas Nurse Aide Certification with CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one-year related experience.
• Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification and CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the prescribed health care plan implementation.
• Conduct frequent resident rounds to check comfort, safety and cleanliness.
• Provide care including bathing, feeding, oral care, dressing and mobility.
• Perform cleaning/sanitary services for room and equipment.
• Document ADLs, intakes/outputs accurately.
• Support morning grooming and dining room transitions.
• Keep linen and towels organized and restocked.
• Ensure resident safety and report any safety concerns immediately.
• Record vital signs as required and observe changes in condition.
• Assist in activities and restorative measures.
• Handle dining room tasks and staff communications as needed.
• Follow Buckner 5STARS customer service standards.
