Job summary

Era Living's University House Wallingford in Seattle seeks on-call Resident Assistants to join the Community Health team. You’ll provide personal care and monitor residents’ wellbeing in licensed apartments, with evening and overnight shifts.

Required CNA or Home Care Aide certification; RN/A with proof; dementia/mental health training; CPR/First Aid; medication tech certification or plan to obtain; Food Handler cert. Era Living offers competitive pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide personal care to older adults.
• Ability to communicate with individuals with cognitive impairment and mental health issues.
• Ability to schedule tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, feeding) to residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, including those with cognitive impairment.
• Assist with self-medications as trained.
• Perform simple housekeeping tasks and keep living areas clean.
