Era Living is seeking on-call Resident Assistants for the University House Wallingford Community in Seattle, WA. Shifts run 3:00PM–11:30PM and 11:00PM–7:30AM. Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $26.50 per hour with company-paid CEUs and free meals.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aide Certification required.
• Dementia and Mental Health training within 90 days of hire.
• Current first aid and CPR certification, required.
• Possess Medication Technician certification or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire.
• Two years’ experience working with seniors preferred.
• One year experience care giving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transferring, toileting and feeding) to all residents living in licensed apartments.
• Communicate effectively with persons with cognitive impairment and mental health issues.
• Assist residents with their self-medications as required (training on medication administration provided).
• Provide simple housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up the apartment and bathroom, and emptying trash per protocol.
