Prestige Senior Living – Auburn Meadows in Auburn, WA is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide direct resident care and support daily activities. Wage range is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, DOE, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

You will assist with ADLs, observe residents, document care, and maintain a safe, respectful environment aligned with Prestige’s values of integrity, trust, commitment and respect. Competency evaluation and required training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass competency evaluation within 120 days of employment
• State required training including Revised Fundamentals of Care, Dementia Care, First Aid, CPR and HIV training if not able to provide documentation of prior training
• Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsabilités

• Provides direct resident care while promoting resident dignity, independence and choice
• Observes residents’ physical and mental conditions and reports changes to Health Services Director
• Assists with or performs ADLs, takes vital signs and weights and documents care
• Documents all incidents and accidents immediately
• Assists residents to and from dining room and activities
• Performs First Aid and initiates emergency response procedures
• Greets residents, visitors, and staff and answers phones when assigned
• Follows and supports fire safety and infection control practices and reports unsafe conditions or equipment
• Serves meals in dining room and assists with dining room/kitchen clean up
• Assists with tours, move-ins/move-outs/transfers and coordinates personal care service
• Assists with apartment housekeeping and resident laundry
• Attends and participates in training, in-services, and staff meetings
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Formation

High school diploma or GED

First Aid and CPR certification

Food Handlers permit (if required by state)
