Job summary

The Charlesgate Senior Living Center is seeking a Resident Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in Providence, RI. The RA/CNA will assist with activities of daily living and instrumental tasks, always promoting independence and choice.

Responsibilities include monitoring health and safety, conducting rounds, aiding in dining and housekeeping, coordinating transportation, and communicating with Wellness and management to ensure timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to respond and follow up with inquiries, complaints, and concerns.
• Demonstrated understanding of aging and resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to support independence.
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to supervisor.
• Conduct room checks, rounds, and safety inspections.
• Assist with dining, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation coordination.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement activities.
