Job summary

The Plaza Assisted Living in Punchbowl (Honolulu) is seeking compassionate Resident Care Aides (RCA) or CNAs to join our team. Evening shifts from 2pm-10pm are available for both part-time and full-time roles; weekend availability is required.

Key duties include daily resident care, bathing, dressing, hygiene, vital signs, care documentation, and accompanying residents to appointments. Report concerns to the on-shift nurse as needed.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in caregiving and working with senior populations.
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and a 2 Step TB test.
• Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
• Availability to work weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident care, including bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and incontinence/peri-care, promoting resident independence.
• Obtain accurate vital signs, document care, and report changes promptly.
• Assist and accompany residents to appointments and activities as assigned.
• Report resident or operational concerns to the Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse on shift.
