Job summary

Birchaven Village in Findlay, OH is seeking a Nurse Aide to support licensed staff by delivering direct resident care under supervision, following federal, state and Birchaven Village policies.

Duties include assisting with personal care and safety, communicating changes to nursing staff, restocking supplies, and maintaining resident comfort and dignity. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Active State Tested Nurse Aide registry with the State of Ohio is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the aging resident and to report changes.
• Ability to assess resident needs and assist in care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision of a Charge Nurse.
• Assist with personal care and safety of residents.
• Communicate ordering needs to inventory personnel to restock supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Demonstrate service excellence and uphold resident rights and Birchaven Village policies.
• Comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
