Job summary

Birchaven Village in Findlay, OH is seeking a Nurse Aide to support licensed staff by providing direct resident care and personal care under supervision. You will help with safety, room setup, and daily tasks in line with federal, state, and local standards and Birchaven Village policies.

The role requires an active Ohio STNA registry, strong communication, and a patient‑centered approach. You will work with the care team to promote resident comfort and uphold ethical standards and resident

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Active STNA registry with the State of Ohio.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to residents’ needs.
• Knowledge of aging and related care principles.
• Ability to assess data and identify resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and room preparation as directed by nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the supervising staff.
• Request and manage supplies to meet daily resident care needs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Demonstrate service excellence aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
• Comply with policies and regulations to ensure quality care and safety.
