Job summary

AdvisaCare in Spring Lake seeks experienced Resident Aide/Med Techs for Independent Living Communities. We offer full time and part time roles on all shifts (12 hours: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am).

You will pass medications, assist with ADLs, interact with residents and families, monitor dining areas, handle fast-paced situations, assist transfers and perform light housekeeping. Requirements include MORC certification or relevant training, HS diploma or GED, CPR, valid driver’s license, reliable

Qualifications

• Resident aide Med Techs must have recent experience/training in other Independent/Assisted Living Facilities and MORC Certified.
• Friendly personality and willingness to spend time with residents!
• High School Graduate or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Driver's License
• Work in a team responsibly and independently
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel within the service area
• CPR Certified
• Ability to pass a drug screen/clear background

Responsibilities

• Passing medications
• Assisting with ADL's (Showering, Dressing, Toileting etc)
• Interacting with residents and their families
• Monitoring in the dining room and interacting with residents at meal times
• Handling fast paced situations
• Transferring as needed
• Light housework duty
